The Heads Retreat is a unique time for heads and spouses to come together for a time of fellowship and nourishment. With a slower pace, time and space to reconnect with friends new and old, and time to enjoy the wonder of our Creator, the Retreat aims to fill the tanks of our leaders and their spouses.

We are thrilled to welcome Rev. Andrew Lazo and Dr. Christin Ditchfield Lazo to this year's Retreat. In Latin, “educare” literally means “to lead out,” an apt description of our calling of guiding our teachers and students through the epic challenges and changes we’ve all faced. Drawing from the inspiring work of C. S. Lewis and his friends, Andrew and Christin Lazo will help us find courage, comfort, and fresh strength for the days to come.

The Reverend  Andrew Lazo, an internationally known C. S. Lewis scholar, speaker, writer, and co-host of the Pints with Jack podcast, serves as an Episcopal priest in the Orlando area. Dr. Christin Ditchfield Lazo, is herself an international conference speaker, Bible teacher, and the best-selling author of A Family Guide to Narnia: Biblical Truths in C.S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia. (See www.ChristinDitchfield.com.) Decades of teaching at every level, from pre-K to post-graduate seminary, have given Andrew and Christin a passion for education and a deep love for students and educators.
